Red Velvet Valentines Day Cupcakes

     Hey everyone!!! Happy Valentines Day! Can you believe I have never made red velvet cakes/cupcakes before???

I decided I needed to man up and finally do it. They turned out wonderfully. Whenever I try something new, I send them to work with my boyfriend at La Capitale. Not only do I value their opinion, but I'm not stuck eating a whole batch of cupcakes to myself, haha!!!

     I tried out two different frosting designs, let me know what you think! I kind of like the second one better, but in the first two pictures the first choice looks better, I think.

    I had cute little Valentine's boxes to use that I bought at Michaels on clearance. The boxed ones are going to a couple friends over at Bentley's Grill, my old stomping grounds.
